Add a Profile Picture on Facebook Chat

Facebook always make its user amazes with new features and tricks. Here is another trick that allows users to make their photos, logos and images appear in their chat. This trick works in just few steps listed below:

1. Go to the facebookl profile page that you want to use as emoticon.
2. Remember the profile ID of the page that is in the end of the URL like Hamrosoft at the end of https://www.facebook.com/hamrosoft or there can be numbers instead of name like 1001254854 etc..
3. Finally, when you are chatting with someone, you can amaze your friends with this trick by just putting that profile ID between double brackets and pressing enter. That braketed number or letter will appear as a tiny profile picture in the chat window.

How do I add or change my profile picture?

Your profile picture helps people recognize you on Facebook. To add a profile picture or change your current profile picture:

  1. Go to your profile and hover over your profile picture.
  2. Click Update Profile Picture.
  3. You can:
    • Select a photo you’ve already uploaded or one you’re tagged in.
    • Upload a photo from your computer.
    • Take a new photo.
  4. Crop your photo and click Crop and Save. If you don’t want to crop your photo, click Skip Cropping in the bottom left, then click Save Profile Picture.

Note: Your current profile picture is always public.
