Ninth Edition Of Film Southasia 2013-a festival of Southasian Documentries is the right patform to showcase You’r talent.
At the press release issued by Film Southasia(FSA), it is currently calling for entries of films representing the stories of south Asian region to a mass and South Asian non-fictional documentary films scheduled for October 3 to 6 in Kathmandu.
The FSA is a biennial festival that began in 1997 with the goal of popularizing the documentary so that it entertains, informs and changes lives and is organized by The Southasia Trust.
Participation can be in competitive and non-competitive categories judged by a three-member South-asian jury.In the competitive category, a participant can win the titles of the best film,the second best film and the best debut filmmaker where the best film is awarded the ‘Ram Bahadur Trophy’ along with a citation and a cash prize of $2,000 and for the 2nd with citation and $1,000. Best debut filmmaker is awarded the ‘Tareque Masud Award’ along with cash prize of $1,000.
