Small Man of the World, Khagendra Thapa Magar

Khagendra Thapa Magar is of 57 cm in height and 6 kg in weight. He was born in 2049 ashwin 28 at Baglung Dhurlubashkot Urleni-6.


He is the son of Rup Bahadur and Dhana Maya Thapa Magar.

Guinness bosses will give him title of  “Small Man Of The world” in pokhara on ashwin 28. He is also ambassador of Nepali Tourism Year 2011.

The shortest teenager in the world, Magar took the title of shortest man from Edward Niño Hernández when he turned 18 on October 14, 2010. Magar is a primordial dwarf. He lost the title of “World’s Shortest Man” on June 12, 2011, to Junrey Balawing of the philippines .

He is from the Baglung District of Nepal and is dubbed as a “little Buddha” by the villagers. Just 600 grams at birth, he weighs 5.5 kilograms.

In May 2008, Khagendra appeared in the British channel 4 documentary called The World’s Smallest Man and Me hosted by Mark Dolan.
